2023 REGISTRATION

Woo Hoo!!!   It’s Time! We are excited to be back at Nelson Pool this year!  Practice starts the week of May 15th 2023 on Monday through Thursday evenings. Our coaches or the board will contact you with practice details.

There will be a parent orientation/information night hosted on Zoom on May 4th, keep an eye out for the link!

How did you hear about the Oroville Orcas? *

Swimmer Level

Can all of your swimmers swim across the pool 25 Yards unassisted? If no, we will place them on our Mini Orcas team. *

Media Release

I grant permission to Oroville Orcas board/committee members and its employees the irrevocable and unrestricted right to take photographs and/or video images taken of me, or members of my family, for the purpose of publication, promotion, illustration, advertising, or trade, in any manner or in any medium. I hereby release Oroville Orcas and its legal representatives for all claims and liability relating to said images or video. Furthermore, I grant permission to use any statements that were given during a video, with or without my name or my family members name, for the purpose of advertising and publicity without restriction. I waive my right to any compensation. I also agree to allow the Oroville Orcas board/Coaches to acknowledge my swimmers on social media related to their improved skills, times, or other celebratory items. I understand that my swimmers name will be displayed on these posts. *

Fundraising

To continue to maintain our low registration costs, we require each family to support the team in an additional way. Please choose one of the following. If you select "Pay Actual Cost" make sure to select "Fundraising Opt Out" at checkout to pay the $100.00. *

INVITATIONAL VOLUNTEER

If Oroville Orcas are required to have a timer during an Invitational meet (Weekend meets) and your swimmer is registered to swim during that meet; you will be required to volunteer your time as a timer. *

OFFICIAL VOLUNTEER

Are you interested in becoming a Swim Official for meets or in joining the Team Board of Directors? These critical positions allow us to swim at meets and allow us to operate as a team. *

Fundraising Agreement

By signing I am acknowledging that I am responsible for the contribution that I agreed to above. I agree to fundraise at least $100 for my family or pay the $100 fundraising opt-out fee. I understand that this fee is only required once PER FAMILY, and not once per swimmer.

Covid-19 Waiver It is my intent as a participant, competing in Oroville Orcas sanctioned activities, while participating during activities including any practice activities at Nelson pool, that I am agreeable to the following: I acknowledge that I am aware that there are risks to me of exposure to directly or indirectly arising out of, contributed to, by, or resulting from: •And outbreak of any and all communicable disease, including but not limited to, the virus “Severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2)”, which is responsible for Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) and/or any mutation or variation thereof; In consideration of having the opportunity to participate as either a team member or competitor at Nelson pool and in acknowledging that I am aware of and willing to assume the risks associated with this activity, I hereby voluntarily agree to waive, hold harmless and indemnify Oroville Orcas and its trustees, agents, volunteers and employees from any and all claims, Demands, damages and causes of action of any nature whatsoever arising out of ordinary negligence which I, my hears, my signs or successors may have against them for, on account of, or by reason of my participation in the above activities.
