Good Afternoon Orca Parents,

Two quick things.

First: We just got word of an invitational in Weaverville that we have never attended before, so we would like to know who is interested and able to attend. If we have enough families interested then we can try to attend the invitational.

Here is what we know: "Weaverville Waves "Stars, Strips & a Splashing Good Time" swim meet is happening July 16-18, they are waiting for sanction number and anticipate having it hit swim connection on Monday. They will be sending out camping and other fun information over the next few days for folks to start making their reservations."

This would be a multiple day invitational with camping involved, and it would be in Weaverville. Swimmers could of course attend for only 1 day, but it is about 2.5 hours from Oroville so multiple days are way less driving. From what it sounds like it would be similar to the Quincy trip for those who have done that in the past.

Please respond to this email if you would be interested in attending this meet on July 16-July 18. If you would be interested in this meet for next year (When we have more notice), please let me know that as well.

Second: We have received confirmation that the Orland Meet WILL happen, but they are waiting on sanctioning to post the meet on swimconnection. This will be a last minute registration and I will send out a message as soon as it's posted. Please keep an eye out for it and register ASAP. We don't know when those entries will close after being posted.
