IMPORTANT - End of Season Information

July 19th

Good Afternoon Families, 

Please note the following important announcements:

Calendar

  • July 20-21 - Orland Invitational
  • July 22 - Last Day of Practice for all Swimmers except those going to NVAL's
  • July 25th - No practice - Travel Day to NVAL
  • July 26-28 - NVAL's (Champs)
  • July 29th - Awards Night, Dinner, Pool Party

Orland Invitational - July 20-21 @ Orland Community Pool - Roosevelt Ave

  • Warm-Ups - 8am
  • Meet Starts - 9am
  • Slated End Time - 1pm

This meet is seeded Seasonal and Year-Round so that more swimmers will get medals and ribbons. Remember your timing shifts, and have your swimmer check in with the coaches pre- and post-race. 

JULY 22 - LAST DAY OF PRACTICE FOR NON-NVAL SWIMMERS

If you are not going to NVAL, your last day of swim will be Monday, July 22, 2024. Tuesday and Wednesday will be only for NVAL swimmers.

NVAL's at Redding Aquatic Center - July 26-28

  • Days      Warm-ups       Meet Begins 
  • Friday       8:30 AM       10:00 AM 
  • Saturday  7:30 AM        9:00 AM 
  • Sunday    7:30 AM        9:15 AM (*8:45 AM – 9:15 AM – Tribute to the Graduates)

Canopy Set Up - The guys will meet in the lobby Friday at 6:10 am to set up Canopies at the Pool. If you want to set up with the team, meet in the Lobby at 6:10am. We encourage you all to sit with the team. 

This event will have over 600 swimmers (double a typical meet). If a swimmer misses their race, they are automatically scratched for the rest of the day. Talk to your swimmer and make sure they DO NOT miss their races. 

Theme - Hawaiian - Decorate your canopy and wear Hawaiian attire. We are competing for team spirit points.

AWARDS NIGHT - DINNER - POOL PARTY - July 29th 6-9pm

Join us for a fun night of celebration, food, and swimming. All immediate family members can swim, eat, and have fun. 

Event Scheule - 

  • 6:00 PM Swim and Eat Dinner
  • 8:00 PM - Awards Ceremony (NVAL Awards, Coach/Team Awards, Participation Medals, Swim-A-Thon Medals and items earned)

If you are 100% sure you can not attend the awards night and know your child earned a towel or water bottle at the Swim-A-Thon, please get in touch with us ASAP to schedule a time to collect these items. We do not have a building to hold them in once the season ends, and we vacate the pool until next year.
